G of the Sea is a standalone; the backup dancer girls were not made into mermaids. This fragrance, Harajuku Lovers G, was inspired by Gwen Stefani herself, and she is represented by the cute doll on the perfume bottle. The perfume is actually only contained in the base, in a smallish spray bottle. The doll is the bottle's cap. Harajuku Lovers - G was developed by perfumer Steve DeMercado and launched in 2008, a part of the first Harajuku Lovers series. What does it smell like? Top Notes: crisp mandarin, fresh coconut, apple skin Middle Notes: jasmine sambac, soft freesia, magnolia vapor Base Notes: coconut cream, white sandalwood, cottonwoods Basically, it smells like coconuts.
